Creative Writing for Spiritual Seekers

Make it a practice to write about your spiritual seeking and you’ll find wisdom within life’s greatest challenges.
This unique Ferry Beach retreat will show you how and why.
Offered for the first time, this event is for everyone who wants to know themselves as a seeker, in the deepest and highest sense of that term.

  • What does it mean to be human?
  • Is peace possible? If so, how?
  • What are the roles of joy and forgiveness in your everyday world?
  • How important is mindfulness in a well-lived life?
  • What are you seeking, and how will you know when you find it?

We’ll explore these universal themes through the creative power of writing and the wisdom of some of the planet’s most celebrated teachers: Gandhi, Jesus, Martin Luther King, the Buddha, the Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu, Pema Chodron and more.
Through guided discussion, small group work—and, of course, writing—you’ll come away with a greater appreciation for our shared humanity and the path you want to follow in living a spiritual life.
In addition, you’ll have afternoons free to journal, explore, reflect, and connect with nature and the beautiful Ferry Beach setting.
Designed to guide you deep within your own beliefs to your creative voice, this retreat will send you home feeling more peaceful, intentional and aware of your own role as a spiritual seeker.
